Big Sur
Our final stop along the coast was Big Sur. What a grand finale it was. There are a few things to keep in mind when visiting this area; check for accommodations in advance, it's quite small and remote so even camping fills up fast, especially on summer weekends. Also, whatever you do, do not drive through this region at night or if you're in a rush. Big Sur is a state of mind, take the time to enjoy the winding roads and stop to soak up the scenery along the way. Here's a glimpse of what you'll see.
